International Conference on the Biology of Marine Mammals in Québec
Mont-Joli, June 22, 2009 – The 18th Biennial Conference on the Biology of Marine Mammals by the Society for Marine Mammalogy will be held for the first time in Quebec from October 12th to the 16th, 2009. This conference is organized in collaboration with Fisheries and Oceans Canada, based at the Maurice Lamontagne Institute, the Group for research and education on marine mammals (GREMM) and other Quebec marine mammal research organizations. Some 2,000 participants are expected mostly from North America, but also from several places around the world. (read more) |
